U.S. Women's Soccer
I attended the U.S. Women's soccer match against North Korea. The game took place in the historic Manchester United Stadium in Manchester. I had to purchase a train ticket for the two hour ride down there. The game was a mismatch from the start as the U.S. proved to be bigger, stronger, and faster. I secured a boxing ticket also, but returned it due to the price of living day to day in London. Here is the inside of the stadium at Manchester. I was in a crowd near all Americans so that was exciting. Because it was North Korea there were not a lot of fans there to support them and the stadium was not as full. I really enjoyed how cheap the concession stand was. A professional sports event in America will run about $6 for a soda, $5-6 for a hot dog or bratwurst, but at Manchester it was 2 British Pounds for a sausage inside a biscuit and 2 British Pounds for a drink.
